Cryotherapy

Remove skin lesions such as skin tags, sun spots, verrucae & warts.

Cryotherapy Overview

What is Cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy – literally meaning "cold treatment" – is a medical procedure that uses extreme cold to destroy abnormal or unwanted tissue.

How Cryotherapy Works

The treatment destroys the affected tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid (fluid inside each skin cell), forming ice shards, which rupture the cell membrane and destroy the affected skin cells. The body's natural healing response immediately kicks in, several days later a scab is formed, then gradually the scab shrinks and heals over the following days and weeks leaving healthy tissue behind.
