Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses a sterile surgical scalpel to gently exfoliate the skin's surface, removing dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly called "peach fuzz"). How Dermaplaning is Performed

During a dermaplaning session, a precise, feathering motion with a sterile 10-gauge scalpel held at a 45-degree angle against the skin is used. The blade is carefully drawn across the treatment area in short, controlled strokes, typically starting from the forehead and working systematically across the face.

The technique is performed section by section, maintaining proper tension on the skin to ensure safety and effectiveness. The entire process usually takes 30-45 minutes and requires no downtime.

Deeply exfoliate the skin with a dermaplane to remove 3 – 4 weeks’ worth of dead skin cells and vellus hair and to prepare the skin for more effective penetration of the serum applied to the skin during the electroporation procedure. Skin is then firmed and lifted using radio frequency.
The treatment involves the technique described above for a basic dermaplane, followed by electroporation (for deep hydration and skin conditioning) and radiofrequency (for tightening and lifting) as described on that treatment page.
